Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps- A Quick Dinner Favorite!

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

You know those nights when you want something homemade, but you also want to keep things easy and delicious? That’s exactly how these Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps came to life. I was craving something warm, cheesy, and comforting—and I didn’t want to spend forever in the kitchen. And friend, these wraps delivered!

They're creamy, garlicky, a little crispy on the outside, and just so satisfying. Plus, they come together fast—like less than 30 minutes fast. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or even a lazy weekend lunch.

Let me walk you through it!

How to Make These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

1. Cook the Chicken

Start by seasoning your diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss it all in a skillet and cook over medium-high heat until it’s golden and cooked through. This usually takes around 6–8 minutes. If you really want to make this even easier, just buy a rotisserie chicken and call it done! You can eliminate the cooking step altogether!

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

In a small bowl, stir together your softened cream cheese (here's a hack- use whipped or spreadable cream cheese!), sour cream, cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and minced garlic. It should be creamy and spreadable—aka the good stuff.

3. Mix It All Together

Add in the chicken by stirring it into the creamy garlic mixture until every piece is coated. Try not to eat it all with a spoon at this point… I won’t judge if you do though.

4. Assemble Your Wraps

Lay out your tortillas. Sprinkle some shredded cheddar and mozzarella down the center if you like extra cheese, spoon on the chicken mixture, and top with a little more cheese (because, obviously).

5. Wrap & Toast

Fold in the sides and roll them up tightly. Toast the wraps in a skillet with a little butter or oil until both sides are golden and crisp—about 2–3 minutes per side.

6. Slice & ServeSlice in half, sprinkle with parsley or green onions if you’re feelin’ fancy, and serve warm. They are SO good right off the pan, but they also reheat great for lunch the next day!

Let’s Talk Variations

These wraps are totally customizable:

  • Use leftover rotisserie chicken if you’re in a hurry.

  • Add spinach, jalapeños, or cooked bacon to change things up.

  • Swap the cheddar/mozzarella combo for pepper jack if you want a little kick.

Make It a Meal

I like serving these with a simple salad, some roasted veggies, or even just chips and fruit when I need a no-fuss dinner. You could also slice them into pinwheels for an easy party snack or lunchbox idea!
