Here's a delicious and super easy weeknight dinner recipe that the whole family will love. I think these are so good and the fact that they're made in the crock pot makes them even better because they're quick to put together and the cleanup is easy, too. I can't wait for you to try this recipe, I think you're going to love it! This recipe makes roughly 6 subs and it is delicious on Hawaiian sub rolls or sliders.
What You'll Need:
3 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 Packet of Ranch seasoning
1 8oz block of cream cheese
1/2 puck of Boursin garlic and herb cheese (you can add the whole puck if you'd like!)
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
About 1/4 cup of green onions, more or less to taste
About 1 cup of shredded cheese
Buns, I used sweet Hawaiian sub rolls
What You'll Do:
Add the chicken in a single layer to the bottom of your crock pot. Don't forget your crock pot liner! It makes cleanup a breeze!
Sprinkle on the ranch seasoning packet.
Lay the block of cream cheese and the Boursin cheese on top of the chicken.
Place the lid on the crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
While the chicken cooks, cook the bacon, chop the green onion, and shred the cheese and set it aside.
When the chicken is fully cooked, shred it using a handheld mixer or forks.
Add the bacon, green onions, and shredded cheese and stir until combined.
Now you're ready to make your sandwich! Add the crack chicken to your favorite bread and enjoy! This dish is great served with chips or a green vegetable.
