Welcome to Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Recipe Series!
The holidays are all about creating sweet memories, and what better way to do that than with a dessert everyone will love? This Nutter Butter Banana Pudding is the perfect combination of creamy, fruity, and nutty goodness. I've adapted Paula Deen's recipe, in which she uses Chessman cookies to layer her banana pudding. I'm mixing it up a bit with a peanut butter twist! With layers of silky, rich vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and the irresistible crunch of Nutter Butter cookies, this no-bake treat is as easy to make as it is to eat! It reminds me of my childhood eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches- which is a combination I've always loved!
Whether you’re hosting a festive gathering or just looking for a cozy dessert to share with family, this recipe is guaranteed to bring a smile to every face. Ready to whip up some holiday magic? Let’s get started!
What You'll Need to Make This Nutter Butter Banana Pudding
2 (8oz.) containers of frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (5oz.) box of instant vanilla pudding
1 (14oz.) can of sweetened condensed milk
1 (8oz.) block of cream cheese, softened
2 cups of milk
6-8 bananas, sliced
1 pack of Nutter Butter Cookies
What You'll Do
Line the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with Nutter Butter Cookies. I chopped mine in half to make them a little easier to scoop out when it was time to serve.
In a bowl, combine the pudding mix and milk with an electric mixer until combined. Set aside to allow the pudding to set.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and fold in one container of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until combined.
Slice bananas over the cookies in the bottom of your pan and pour over the pudding mixture. Spread it evenly to allow it to settle down into the cracks.
Next, spread over the second container of whipped topping and layer Nutter Butter cookies on top.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours and serve chilled. Enjoy!
